It's not just a business moniker; it's a cool nickname that stuck, courtesy of my uni friends. Now who wouldn't roll with a name like that? You don't come across such cool nicknames every day. So thats why my wedding business is called Musket Wedding Photography
How it started
My journey into photography started in a somewhat unexpected place – I started a clothing company designing tees and screen printing them. I was tasked with photographing the tees and models in them, Which made me discovered a passion for photography that changed the course of my professional life. The clothing venture took a back seat as I embarked on a new adventure, diving headfirst into the world of photography.
Teaming up with a friend, I delved into filming and photographing bands first, embracing the dynamic energy of live performances and it was a blast. Then, fate intervened when a bandmate from one of the bands we filmed, asked if I could photograph their sisters wedding. With an affirmative "yes," I found myself captivated by the magic of weddings. That "aha" moment struck, and Musket Wedding Photography was born. Now over 30 weddings later, my love for documenting these special moments only continues to grow.
What I do in my spare time
In my downtime, you'll find me immersed in the timeless art of film photography. Armed with 35mm or 120 film camera passed down from friends and family, I go about capturing life through the vintage lens of these old-school gems. Beyond the lens, I love to travel and explore new places and sometimes on my motorbike hitting the open road. I am also a big cinema fan, finding joy in the simple pleasure of watching movies and sometimes getting involved in making short films, from filming, sound design and Directing.
